Week of October 15, 2012
Thank you, to those of you who joined us for Parent/Teacher conferences. We enjoyed talking with each of you!
Because of the two days students were out of school, our week will look a little bit different.
We have attached this week's spelling words to the students assignment book. Please take time to study with them this week. The will be on Monday, October 22.
Students will also have a Grammar assessment over Singular Possessive Nouns on Monday, October 22.
This week we are reading Grace and the Time Machine. Because of the short week there will be no selection test over this story. However, they will be given their usual vocabulary assessments on Monday.
For Math, you may study multiplication facts with your students. Please focus on 2's, 5's, 10's, and 11's this week. Just a few minutes of quizzing them each week will be a huge help to your student. If they can say an entire "fact family" to me, they receive a small prize, so encourage them to do this!
